We have 2 days and a 1 night tour through breathtaking and open landscape, where a beautiful view of the white, but yet rough landscape. On clear nights there are stars brighter than you have ever seen them before or if we are lucky the Aurora Borealis might make an appearance.
Program

A day with preparation: We meet at our Tundra Tour office in Namsskogan Togstasjon (Train station) at 11am. We start first by going through the equipment, and all the gear (It will be handouts of rental gear if needed) We will go over safety procedures and the maps for where we are planning to go (weather permitted) All of the expedition food, such as breakfast, lunch and dinner will be handed out as well as spoons and cups. Any extra snacks you would like to bring can be purchased down at the local shop “Jokeren” We will then pack our pulk (sleds) together as a team, so you know how to pack it properly. After this, we will get dressed to go out for a training tour on cross country ski with the pulks. When we return back to Namsskogan Togstasjon (Train station) you will have the rest of the day free to do as you wish.

Ski Expidition
Gotta put up a review (my first one) this was an amazing trip my guide met me at the airport and from there the excitement mounted. We prepared for the expidition by doing some training and climatization locally. Prepared all our gear, pulks and readied ourselves for the wilderness. And wilderness is what we got, it was white, wild, windy but altogether pieceful and quiet. For me the feeling of you and the raw elements is heaven. Tundra Tours were excellent, the equipment superb, the food well hot and tasty after a hard days trecking. Bernie was a world class guide and I have been on many serious and savage adventures in my life!! A must do, thanks Bernie and Tundra Tours - 13aubrey, Dublin, Ireland
