Establishing new forests is the most important measure carried out in the entire forestry industry. Correctly implemented tree planting is vital for survival, growth and quality development – and therefore provides the best starting point for the forest resources of the future, society’s values, the climate and future generations.
After completing the course, you should know how to plan, implement and document tree planting in accordance with instructions, the Norwegian PEFC Forest Standard and good Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
The target groups for this course consist of professional planters and forest managers within the operational forestry sector. The course is also relevant for active forest owners. It is not a prerequisite that course participants have an education within forestry.
