We provide course about ST 502 Module 10 Rig Manoeuvring. After the course participants should have an understanding of and training in maneuvering MODUs. Duration of the course is 4 days and the maximum number of participants is 18.
The course covers topics such as:
• Maneuvering
• Manouvering systems
• Different navigational techniques
• Co-operation on the bridge
• Bridge procedures
• Anchor calculations
The course curriculum is approved by NMA in letter of 20.11.1996
Target audience:
This course is for personnel aiming to work as OIM on MODUs. As this course is developed for the Norwegian sector, our general courses are held in Norwegian. However, we can adapt the course to English upon formal request.
Prerequisites:
• Participants must have an education equivalent of officer and have passed Module 9 to participate
Exam:
In order to receive Document of Evidence the participants must pass written and practical exam
