We provide norwegian course for beginners - level A1. The course will give you basic knowledge of Norwegian. We start from scratch and aim to build a solid foundation that you can continue to expand upon. All lessons take place in classroom with dedicated and qualified teachers.
The goal of the norwegian beginners course:
In this Norwegian course we aim for you to understand and use words, phrases and expressions in simple everyday situations. The goal is for you to make yourself understood. You will learn foundational grammar, spelling and number names. You will be able to create simple sentences and pose questions with correct syntax as well as having some knowledge about the Norwegian society.
Target group:
This Norwegian course for beginners is perfect for those who have little or no experience with the norwegian language.

• You must be familiar with the latin alphabet before you start

Course material:
For the norwegian course in Stavanger we use the books På vei textbook and På vei workbook. The teacher will go through chapter 1 - 8. You have to buy the books before the course starts. The books can be bought in Norli and Ark Berge bookstores, or ordered on the internet. The course fee does not include the books.
Examination:
After finishing your Norwegian course, you will receive a course certificate, if you have attended at least 75 % of the classes. If you attend less than 75 % we can issue a confirmation letter for the numbers of hours you have attended.
