We provide course about CK 409 offshore loading phase 1 - without DP Cap in english. The course is developed according to STCW A-II/1-2, GOMO guidelines, O&G UK regulations, Equinor’s competence requirements WR2394.
Content:
After the course the participants should have acquired understanding and skills to be able to handle and maneuver shuttle tankers safely and efficient in manual mode in port, restricted waters and near offshore installations.

• Propellers / rudders
• Thrusters
• Anchoring
• Ship handling in different weather, waves and currents conditions
• Tugs
• Squat / interaction
• ROT technique
• Berthing and unberthing with and without tugs
• DP setup and modes, PRS, PMS data recorder
Duration:
• Duration of the course is 5 days (35 hours) and the maximum number of participants is 3
Target audience:
This course is for officers working on shuttle tankers
Prerequisites:
• Participants must have valid D4 deck certificate of competency in order to attend this course
