We provide CK 212 instructor course (IMO model course 6.09). The objective of the course is the planning and preparation of effective teaching, instruction and evaluation in order to deliver training for seafarers.
Content:
This is done in accordance with the standard of competence required by the STCW convention. A selection of methods of instruction, teaching tools, evaluation of teaching and knowledge of the learning process are some of the central elements of the course. Its aim is to provide a useful introduction for those with limited teaching experience and introduce new approaches or serve as a reminder of skills and techniques for those who have been teaching for some time.
After the course, participants should be able to carry out minimum requirements according to STCW STCW A-I/6, A-I/8, B-I/6, and B-I/8 and build up and create an instruction program in accordance with mandatory regulations. The content of the course is in accordance with IMO Model Course 6.09, 2017 edition and NMA’s course plan. The course lasts for a total of 60 hours, consisting of 16 hours of e-learning and a comprehensive written assignment, in addition to 3 days on-site.
