We provide course about CK 102 DP-Simulator in english. After the course the DP operator should acquire insight, experience and confidence in the execution of DP operations, including the ability to handle system errors under different conditions.
Content:
The course follows Nautical Institute’s learning program and covers topics such as:
• Planning, risk assesment and hazard identification
• DP system principles
• PRS handling
• Cargo Transfer
• DP Incidents
Duration of the course is 5 days and the maximum number of participants is 8. The course is in accordance with IMCA M117 and Nautical Institute’s Dynamic Positioning Training Accreditation Standard.
Target audience:
This course is for navigators that are obtaining a DP certificate
Prerequisites:
• There is a prerequisite for the participants to have attended DP Induction and obtained 60 days approved DP sea-time before attending this course.
