We provide course about basic safety training with e-learning in english. The course aims to create positive attitudes to the term HSE culture, as well as understanding for the social and physical working environments significance for life, health and values in work as well as recreational time.
Objective:
To enable the delegates to protect their safety in an emergency situation and promote safe behaviour. The participant should be motivated to promote a better and safer working environment. Emphasis is placed on preventive measures that can avoid injuries to people, the environment and equipment.
Course contents:
The course follows the training guidelines issued by Offshore Norway for safety and emergency preparedness training.
• Introduction
• HSE culture and behaviour
• First-aid
• Collective evacuation by means of lifeboat and Escape chute
• Fire protection
• Sea rescue
• Helicopter evacuation
After completing the course, the participants should have basic knowledge and skills relating to:
• HSE culture and correct safety behaviour
• Prevention of work accidents
• Use of relevant fire / rescue equipment
• Lifesaving first-aid
• Collective means of evacuation
• Correct use of survival suit with emergency breathing system
• Helicopter evacuation (HUET)

Personnel working on the Norwegian Continental Shelf

Prerequisites:
• None
• When you enrol in the course, you will receive a link to an e-learning module. This must be completed before you start the course. On the first day, a multiple choice test based on the e-learning will be completed.
Examination:
Written exam. The participants have to actively take part in both theoretical and practical exercises.
