Become a watercolorist! Dive into the fun and colourful world of watercolour with our art course for teenagers! It's the perfect spot for you to learn about painting, experiment with colours, and create your own art. Over four exciting sessions, you'll get to explore what it means to be a watercolour artist and make some beautiful pieces to share.
What we will be doing during the course of 3 lessons:
• Learn the Basics: We'll cover the simple things first, like how to use your brush, mix colours, and make smooth strokes.
• Color and Light Fun: Discover how colours and light can make your paintings stand out and look amazing.
• Make It Yours: Every lesson is a chance for you to express yourself and create something unique.
Each session is designed to be fun and educational, mixing demonstrations, hands-on painting, and short breaks. By the end of the workshop, you'll not only have several pieces of your own watercolour art but also the enthusiasm and skills to keep creating.

Meet the tutors:
Kasia Wiercinska is a dedicated watercolour artist and respected tutor, with a rich educational background in architecture that underpins her expertise in drawing and creative design. She has been nurturing her passion for art since childhood, which has translated into her role as a sought-after watercolour instructor. Kasia leads various art workshops, contributes to international watercolour festivals, and is actively involved with Urban Sketchers. Her artwork has been showcased and admired across the globe, and she continues to share her knowledge with art enthusiasts of all levels.
Brigit Hoogenberk is a dedicated Dutch illustrator with a passion for mixed media and a background in Industrial Design Engineering. Her expertise in various design techniques was deepened by a decade of teaching Research and Design at the high school level. Brigit is known for her engaging storytelling through her art and currently focuses on her children’s book illustration career. With teaching workshops Brigit seeks to inspire students to embrace their creativity and explore the endless possibilities of their imagination.
